Advent Labyrinth Workshop
On the first Sunday of Advent this year, I led an Advent Labyrinth afternoon for a local church. Both I and those who attended enjoyed it, we had fun together. We took waiting as our advent theme, using finger labyrinths in our opening and closing times of prayer together. I even encouraged them to consider what it felt like to wait for the glue to dry, or to wait their turn to use the scissors! I had also taken along my small walking labyrinth, which some took time to walk. The main focus of the afternoon was creating their own finger labyrinths. I provided all the resources and instructions, and they applied their creativity to produce some wonderful examples. Each of them took away a completed finger labyrinth along with suggestions on how to use them in prayer during advent.
I offer many different types of creative and/or spiritual workshops, and am always happy to tailor them to your group. You can read more about these here.
