Emmanuel

I created this a few years ago at Christmas time, either in the art group I run, or the online creative group I’m part of (I can’t remember which!). I like the simplicity and cleanness of it. It took me a few years to learn to embrace this simple, clean style that I have, and I think that this is a good example.

Emmanuel means ‘God with us’ which for me summaries what Christmas is all about. God came to be with us, and we are invited to worship him, to know him, to love him, to follow him. This little piece is an invitation to remember what Christmas is all about, to come and worship Emmanuel.
