Joy!

I coloured this bible journal page at the end of the my first retreat doing the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. I was full of joy at the end of the retreat, and so had been given psalm 100 to pray. It is a simple and short psalm of praise. I wrote the word ‘Joy’ because that is what I was feeling (and what the psalm encourages!) I drew a simple trumpet horn, out of which is flying coloured confetti. And then lastly I added the words ‘Praise Him!’ at the bottom of the page. A simple celebration of the joy I was feeling at the end of my retreat.
