On my desk this month…

Each month I hope to give you a small peak at what is on my desk. This month I’m sharing three small pieces with you.

The landscape on the far left was created following an online workshop - it was a bit of fun and something out of my comfort zone. The middle piece is a piece of mindful art. I had painted the circles with some leftover paint months ago on a postcard size piece of paper. I create these postcards whenever I have leftover paint, painting all sorts of shapes and patterns. When the mood takes me, I then choose one of the painted postcards and add to it - often with pattern like this one. I then painted the outside of it with watercolour paint. The last piece is a simple piece that I created as a result of reflecting on the ups and downs of life.

None of the pieces are perfect, they’re just joyful expressions of creativity - whether it’s playing with a new idea, enjoying some mindful relaxation or expressing something I’ve been thinking about. And just sometimes, I create something that I feel is worth working on and developing into something better.
